"Vegetable Oils" AKA Seed Oils Are Bad For You
They're Seed Oils--NOT Vegetables--And Not Even Food, Really
Seed oils are not really food products. They were literally garbage, until ways were figured out to use factories to process them into oils. It takes a lot of steps, with chemicals and super-high heat--which oxidize and create cancer-causing free radicals.
Plus, they turn rancid--so deodorizers are added to hide the smell. (One of the reasons propaganda had to be used to get people to buy it.)
Of course, Big-Food loves seed oils, because of how cheap they are. It shouldn't be surprising that corporate media doesn't cover it, as they have a conflict of interest from all the advertising money that take from Big-Food.
It can be hard to find information about ingredients, but there are seed-oil free options in restaurants and packaged foods. For example, Panda Express only has 3 seed oil free foods: orange chicken, honey-sesame chicken, and steamed white rice.
Part of the problem is how many people don't seem to care about consuming toxic crap. But most are not aware of how bad or widespread seed oils are.
If people knew, they'd start caring. And the market would provide more convenient options for seed oil-free eating. I'm looking forward to when it's used as a selling point!
