If everyone knew their rights as jurors, we could end much of the government's tyranny and injustice, and save people's lives from being ruined:
Jurors’ refusal to enforce unconstitutional, oppressive, unjust or unjustly applied laws is known as jury nullification, jury veto, conscientious acquittal, and other terms. It is a crucial tool citizens have to restrain government. As a juror you have the power to stop corrupt and malicious government officials from violating you and your neighbors' rights.
Of course government judges don't let you know about this power. They will lie and instruct the jury that they must convict if a law was broken, or they'll say jurors can only determine the facts and don't have the right to interpret or nullify the law.
So if called for jury duty, keep this to yourself. You shouldn't lie during jury selection, but you may get dismissed if you mention it--so just answer honestly while avoiding talk of nullifying.
The word needs to get out about this, as 95%~ of criminal charges never go to trial--and if you dare to demand your right to a trial, you risk being punished with a far harsher sentence.
And if everyone knew about this, people who were clearly being screwed over by government wouldn't be forced to hire expensive attorneys--they could represent themselves and buy some jury nullification merch instead :)
It is up to us to spread the word--corporate media ain't gonna cover it, government schools ain't gonna teach about it, and big-tech will probably censor it as disinformation. (And I don't want to redpill you too hard on conspiracies, but this cover-up is no accident. Who benefits? Our corporatist rulers.)
Here are some of the best quotes I've found on the topic of jury nullification--let me know if you'd like any put on a t-shirt or other merch. (Use the chat box in the lower right on CensoredShop.com)
- The jury's responsibility is to deliver justice, not uphold the law.
- Jury nullification occurs when a jury returns a Not Guilty verdict even though jurors believe beyond reasonable doubt that the defendant has broken the law. Because the Not Guilty verdict cannot be overturned, and because the jurors cannot be punished for their verdict, the law is said to be nullified in that particular case.
- It is not only the juror's right, but his duty, to find the verdict according to his own best understanding, judgment and conscience, though in direct opposition to the instruction of the court. - John Adams
- I consider trial by jury as the only anchor yet imagined by man, by which a government can be held to the principles of its constitution. - Thomas Jefferson
- To secure this right of the people to judge of their own liberties against the government, the jurors are taken, (or must be, to make them lawful jurors,) from the body of the people, by lot, or by some process that precludes any previous knowledge, choice, or selection of them, on the part of the government. ... It is supposed that, if twelve men be taken, by lot, from the mass of the people, without the possibility of any previous knowledge, choice, or selection of them, on the part of the government, the jury will be a fair epitome of " the country " at large, and not merely of the party or faction that sustain the measures of the government; that substantially all classes of opinions, prevailing among the people, will be represented in the jury; and especially that the opponents of the government, (if the government have any opponents,) will be represented there, as well as its friends - Lysander Spooner
- Jurors should acquit, even against the judge’s instruction...if exercising their judgment with discretion and honesty they have a clear conviction the charge of the court is wrong. - Alexander Hamilton
- The jury has the right to judge both the law as well as the fact in controversy. - John Jay, 1st chief justice of the Supreme Court
- The people themselves have it in their power to resist usurpation, without an appeal to arms. An act of usurpation is not obligatory; it is not law; and any man may be justified in his resistance. Let him be considered a criminal by the general government, yet only his fellow citizens can convict him - Theophilus Parons, first Chief Justice of Massachusetts
- Why do we love this trial by jury? Because it prevents the hand of oppression from cutting you off. This gives me comfort - that as long as I have existence, my neighbors will protect me. - Patrick Henry
- In 1879, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court noted that "the power of the jury to be judge of the law in criminal cases is one of the most valuable securities guaranteed by the Bill of Rights."
- The law itself is on trial quite as much as the cause which is to be decided. - Harlan F. Stone, 12th Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court
- In Pennsylvania, Supreme Court Justice James Wilson noted, in his Philadelphia law lectures of 1790, that when "a difference in sentiment takes place between the judges and jury, with regard to a point of law,...The jury must do their duty, and their whole duty; They must decide the law as well as the fact."
- The pages of history shine on instances of the jury's exercise of its prerogative to disregard instructions of the judge." - 1972 Court decision U. S. v Dougherty
- Know then... That we claim all the benefits secured to the subject by the English constitution, and particularly that inestimable one of trial by jury. - John Jay is reportedly the author of this Address to the People of Great Britain, which foreshadowed the American revolution--making clear that colonists would not tolerate the usurpation of their right to trial by jury and the protections thereof
- That in controversies respecting property, and in suits between man and man, the ancient trial by jury is preferable to any other, and ought to be held sacred. - SEC. 11 of Virginia’s June 1776 Constitution
- The entire idea behind a jury trial is that the state must GO THROUGH THE PEOPLE in criminal trials. If the government is making laws the PEOPLE disagree with, the PEOPLE HAVE THE RIGHT TO IGNORE THE LAW AND ACQUIT THEIR FELLOW CITIZENS. PROTECTING YOURSELF FROM THE STATE IS THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL!
- If the people don’t want the conduct criminalized, then the people CAN REFUSE to criminalize it. If the people think the prosecutor is improperly singling people out, then the people don’t convict. If the people think the law creates INJUSTICE in any case, then they have the right to IGNORE the law. [Like how the government ignores the Constitution/supreme law of the land]

- There should be no happier day in the life of an American than the day he opens his mail and finds a summons for jury duty. While he may not be called to serve on a politically important case, the number of unjust and politically motivated prosecutions clogging our courts make it very likely. … The law is not always just, and even the best laws can be unjustly applied. How can jurors dispense justice, when applying the law would lead to injustice? The answer is simple: by voting their conscience. - Clay S. Conrad
