A Right So Powerful Its Hidden From Americans

One of the most important rights you have as an American has been deliberately hidden--ignored by corporate media and covered-up in public (government-run) schools:

In jury trials, jurors have the power to vote not guilty for any reason--even if a defendant broke the law.

So as a juror, if you think the law is unjust, you can veto/nullify the law by voting not guilty. This is known as jury nullification.

Judges won't allow lawyers to talk about jury nullification in the courtroom--and if you mention it as a juror, it may get you removed. But no matter what the judge says, they can't punish or stop you for voting not guilty.

Jury nullification was intentionally baked into the justice system--to limit government from getting out of control and violating people's rights.

So when government creates laws that are unjust or unconstitutional, they can't just declare that you've broken a law and are guilty. They have to go through everyday people in the form of juries.

If even one juror thinks the law is unjust, they can nullify the law by voting not guilty. Thus stopping the government from violating your individual rights--saving you and your freedom.

But don't take it from me:

"Think about what juries did during the civil rights movement. If it weren’t for jury nullification, we would have many civil rights individuals who would be convicted felons or otherwise for things that today we think are protected by the First Amendment." - Sonia Sotomayor, current Supreme Court justice

"I consider trial by jury as the only anchor yet imagined by man, by which a government can be held to the principles of its constitution." - Thomas Jefferson

"Why do we love this trial by jury? Because it prevents the hand of oppression from cutting you off. This gives me comfort - that as long as I have existence, my neighbors will protect me." - Patrick Henry

That's why the masses don't learn this in government schools. It's been covered-up intentionally. Imagine what else has been kept in the dark.

Unfortunately, many innocent defendants are pressured into giving up their right to a jury trial. If you dare to choose to go to trial, you face the threat of harsh maximum penalties--or you can take a plea deal from the prosecutor and get off with a lighter punishment.

But imagine if everyone knew about their right to jury nullification. So many injustices could be nullified. So please do your part to spread the word--share this and consider spreading the word in real life with some merch!
